(1) Finally sent a package of toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair gel, etc.) to the USO HYGIENE DRIVE that CPF Molly Flynn Dorais told Facebook about in mid-July. (ICYMI, our soldiers kids, have run out of toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, etc., on the Air Force base in Bagram. If you get a minute, grab some toiletries and ship a box off to Afghanistan...
ATTN: Hygiene DriveThe post office has a flat rate box just for this...it costs less than $15 and these kids more than deserve to have toothpaste!!

(2) Walked 5.5 miles in heavy pedestrian/shopper traffic at the Mall at Wellington Green. (Hooray for tax-free weekends?)
(3) Received the Duffy's gift card I won in the mail. Promptly used it on an enjoyable low-chloresterol meal:
(4) Blackened grilled salmon with a small Napa Valley Salad, a side of cole slaw, and unsweetened iced tea.
(5) Ordered a new plaque for the Wellington Debate room to recognize students who achieved more than 1,500 National Forensic League competition points (the Degree of Premier Distinction). First two names - Amy Levine (1,542 points, c/o 2007) and Mike Reynolds (1,530 points, c/o 2013).
